Day 1 – Cusco – Llaqto – Anantapata: Early pick-up from your hotel at 4:00 am. Transfer to Llaqto, where we begin our hike toward Quellwaccocha, where we’ll enjoy lunch. We continue to the Warmisaya Pass, offering breathtaking views of the Red Valley. Finally, we arrive at the Anantapata campsite, where dinner and overnight stay will be provided.
Campsite: Anantapata – accommodation with dinner included, surrounded by the unique landscapes of Ausangate and the Red Valley.
Day 2 – Anantapata – Pucacocha: Breakfast at the Anantapata campsite. Hike toward Condor Pass, enjoying panoramic views of the Red Valley and surrounding mountain range. Afterward, descend to Pucacocha, where lunch will be served. Arrive at the campsite for the night, where dinner and overnight stay are included.

Day 3 – Llanacocha – Azulccocha Lagoon: Breakfast at the Llanacocha campsite. Hike toward Arapa Pass, enjoying panoramic views of Ausangate and the Red Valley. Descend to Upis, where lunch will be served. Continue to the Azulccocha Lagoon campsite, where dinner and overnight stay are included.

Day 4 – Azulccocha Lagoon – Cusco: Breakfast at the Azulccocha campsite. A 3-hour hike through the stunning “Seven Lagoons” area. Arrival in Pacchanta, where you’ll relax in the hot springs and enjoy a farewell lunch with the porters. Afterwards, return transfer to Cusco, marking the end of the trek.

The trek lasts 4 days and 3 nights, with an average of 6 to 8 hours of hiking per day, crossing high mountain passes that exceed 5,000 meters above sea level.
The level is challenging due to the altitude. Excellent physical condition and prior acclimatization in Cusco are recommended to enjoy the experience safely.
It includes transportation from Cusco, full meals, camping equipment, horses to carry luggage, a bilingual guide, route entrance fees, and visits to the Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley.
