The adventure to Pallay Punchu Mountain begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 4:00 a.m. Our transportation will take us to the town of Sicuani, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast.
We will continue the journey towards Layo, from where we will start the hike to the spectacular Pallay Punchu Mountain, famous for its unique shapes and colors resembling an "Andean poncho."
After exploring this wonderful destination, we will return to Sicuani to enjoy a lunch, and finally head back by bus to the city of Cusco.

Pallay Punchu, also known as the "Sharp-Colored Mountain," is located in the Canas province, Cusco, at approximately 4,700 meters above sea level, near Langui Lagoon.
The tour is Full Day (1 day). It includes transportation from Cusco, hiking to the mountain, guided visit, and return to Cusco in the afternoon.
The hike is moderate to challenging, lasting approximately 2.5 to 3 hours uphill. The altitude (4,700 meters) can make it demanding, so prior acclimatization in Cusco is recommended.
The tour includes round-trip tourist transportation, a professional bilingual guide, breakfast, lunch, entrance fees to Pallay Punchu mountain, and assistance throughout the trip.
Experience is not required, but good physical condition and acclimatization to altitude are necessary since the hike can be demanding.
The best time to visit is from April to November (dry season), when trails are in better condition and landscapes are clearer.
It is recommended to bring trekking shoes, light and warm clothing, a hat or cap, sunscreen, water, snacks, rain poncho, personal medication, and a camera for photos.
