We begin at the iconic Main Square (Plaza de Armas), where you’ll explore the heart of colonial Cusco. Then we visit the Tricentenario Square, a perfect spot for capturing unique postcard-worthy photos.

Pisac 2 Lagoons 5 Days Day 2

We will begin our day very early, at 6:30 a.m., with pickup from your hotel to head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be the Taray Viewpoint, from where you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the valley and the Wilcamayu River.

We will continue our journey to Paru Paru, a community that preserves its ancestral traditions. Here, you will take part in an authentic cultural experience, learning how to prepare Pachamanca, a traditional dish cooked underground with local tubers and meats. After the preparation, you will enjoy this delicious typical lunch.

After lunch, you will have time to rest in your room, within the home of the local family who will be hosting you.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Quimsacocha Lagoon, where we will take a panoramic walk before continuing to the Azulcocha Lagoon. In this mystical setting, we will participate in an ancestral ceremony honoring Pachamama and the Apus—an inspiring spiritual experience to connect with nature.

At night, we will enjoy dinner at the rural home and rest in our rooms, preparing for the next day’s adventure.

This day begins with a delicious local breakfast, followed by a farewell to the family who hosted us during our stay in the community.

Next, our transport will pick us up to head to the Pisaq archaeological site, where we will enjoy a complete visit through all its sectors, including areas that are not covered in the traditional Sacred Valley tour. During the exploration, our guide will share with you the history, architecture, and the fascinating secrets preserved in this important Inca center.

After the archaeological visit, we will descend back to the town, where our vehicle will be waiting to take us to Ollantaytambo. From there, we will board the train bound for Machu Picchu Pueblo, where we will spend the night in preparation for our visit to the Wonder of the World.

Pisac 2 Lagoons 5 Days Day 4

Today is the most awaited day: we will experience the magic of one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World: Machu Picchu.

We will start with a delicious breakfast at the hotel to recharge energy before our visit. Then, one hour before our scheduled entrance time, we will board the Consettur bus heading to the Inca citadel.

We will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes through the most important points of Machu Picchu, learning about its history, architecture, and the incredible functions this Inca sanctuary once fulfilled.

After the visit, we will return to Machu Picchu Pueblo, where you will have free time to have lunch, explore the town, or visit the artisan market. In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo.

We will spend the night at our hotel in Ollantaytambo, resting before continuing with the final stage of the tour.

On this last day, we will start with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Around 7:30 a.m., we will pick you up to begin a cultural tour through some of the most important sites in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Our first visit will be to Ollantaytambo, considered the last living Inca town. Here, we will explore its impressive archaeological complex in detail, learning about its architecture, original streets, and constructions of great historical importance.

We will then head to Urubamba, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch with a variety of typical regional dishes.

Our second stop will be Moray, famous for its circular terraces that functioned as an advanced Inca agricultural laboratory. We will continue to the beautiful Maras Salt Mines, where more than 3,000 salt ponds create a unique landscape.

Finally, we will visit Chinchero, where we will explore its archaeological site and experience a complete demonstration of the traditional Andean weaving process: from obtaining the wool, natural dyeing, to the handmade creation of textiles.

After this enriching cultural experience, we will return to the city of Cusco, concluding this wonderful 5-day tour.
